She Said Yes!
After taking time off to travel together for seven months, Ilias decided to pop the question while on a 2-week Statile family trip around Italy. Ilias, Olivia, Olivia’s sister Allie, and husband Niko went for an early morning hike at 7am to Cadini di Misurina. After reaching the viewpoint, Ilias dropped on one knee and whipped the ring out of his pocket.
While he didn’t think Olivia saw it coming, she had a hunch after watching Ilias clutch a box in his pocket for the entire duration of the hike. The rest is history!

In order to honor both backgrounds during our wedding, we’ve decided to host a 2-night event in Morocco. Twice the fun. Twice the dancing. But both at the same venue!

Classic Western/American wedding with the usual white dress, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dinner and dancing.
Traditional Moroccan wedding with just dinner and dancing. This night will feature primarily Moroccan food, music, and fashion. And Olivia will be hoisted into the air…
